Eine horizontale, beinahe monochrome Komposition in gesättigtem Ultramarin, in der dicke schwarze Anhäufungen aus Sand und Pigment im Zentrum einen Ring und Cluster bilden. Die Oberfläche ist stark reliefartig, mit der Wirkung erkalteten Harzes oder vulkanischen Gesteins. Die Arbeit liest sich als ein intimes, meditatives Zeichengebilde auf tiefblauem Grund.

A horizontal, almost monochrome composition in saturated ultramarine, with thick black aggregations of sand and pigment forming a ring and clusters at the centre. The surface is heavily relief-like, with the effect of cooled resin or volcanic rock. The work reads as an intimate, meditative sign-form on a deep blue ground.
