Blaue Kalligraphie

A horizontally extended abstraction in blue and black on a pale, almost paper-like ground. Calligraphic strokes, circles and long drips cross one another into a fragile web that recalls East Asian calligraphy. Diluted washes seep softly through the drawing, giving the whole composition an airy transparency.
